तस्मिन् सदसि नित्यास्तु व्यासशिष्या द्विजर्षभा: । सर्वशास्त्रप्रणेतार: कुशला यज्ञसंस्तरे
tasmin sadasi nityāstu vyāsaśiṣyā dvijarṣabhāḥ | sarvaśāstrapraṇetāraḥ kuśalā yajñasaṃstare ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആ യജ്ഞസഭയിൽ വ്യാസന്റെ ശിഷ്യരായ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠ ബ്രാഹ്മണർ നിത്യവും സന്നിഹിതരായിരുന്നു. അവർ സമസ്ത ശാസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെയും പ്രാമാണിക പ്രണേതാക്കളും വ്യാഖ്യാതാക്കളും ആയിരുന്നു; യജ്ഞഭൂമിയിലെ കർമവിന്യാസത്തിലും നടത്തിപ്പിലും അവർ അത്യന്തം നിപുണരായിരുന്നു.
