राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations

न तत्र कृपण: वक्षिन्न दरिद्रो बभूव ह । क्षुधितो दुःखितो वापि प्राकृतो वापि मानव:

na tatra kṛpaṇaḥ kaścid daridro babhūva ha | kṣudhito duḥkhito vāpi prākṛto vāpi mānavaḥ ||

ആ യാഗസഭയിൽ ഒരാളും ദീനനോ ദരിദ്രനോ ആയി ശേഷിച്ചില്ല; ആരും വിശപ്പോടെ ഉണ്ടായില്ല, ആരും ദുഃഖിതനായി ഉണ്ടായില്ല—അത്യന്തം സാധാരണവും താഴ്ന്ന നിലയിലുമുള്ള മനുഷ്യനെയും പോലും അഭാവത്തിൽ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞില്ല।
