स ताभ्यां पुरुषव्याप्रो नित्यमध्वसु वर्तते । न चान्यदनुपश्यामि येनासौ दुःखभाजनम्,“उन मोटी फिल्लियोंके कारण ही पुरुषसिंह अर्जुनको सदा रास्ता चलना पड़ता है। और कोई कारण मुझे नहीं दिखायी देता, जिससे उन्हें दुःख झेलना पड़े"
sa tābhyāṃ puruṣavyāpro nityam adhvasu vartate | na cānyad anupaśyāmi yenāsau duḥkhabhājanam ||
ആ രണ്ടു കട്ടിയുള്ള പിണ്ഡികകളുടെ കാരണത്താലാണ് പുരുഷവ്യാഘ്രനായ അർജുനൻ നിത്യവും വഴികളിൽ തന്നെ കഴിയേണ്ടിവരുന്നത്. അവൻ ദുഃഖഭാജനനാകാൻ മറ്റൊരു കാരണവും എനിക്ക് കാണുന്നില്ല.
