यथाप्राणं यथोत्साहं योधयामासुररजुनम् | अमित तेजस्वी अर्जुनके द्वारा मारे जानेपर भी सैन्धव योद्धा बल और उत्साहपूर्वक उनके साथ जूझते ही रहे
yathāprāṇaṃ yathotsāhaṃ yodhayāmāsur arjunam | amita-tejasvinā arjunena māryamāṇā api saindhavā yodhā bala-utsāha-pūrvakaṃ tena saha yuyudhire ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ ശക്തിയോടും ക്ഷയിക്കാത്ത ഉത്സാഹത്തോടും കൂടി യോദ്ധാക്കൾ അർജുനനോട് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു. അപാരതേജസ്സുള്ള അർജുനൻ വെട്ടിവീഴ്ത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നിട്ടും സൈന്ധവ വീരർ ബലവും ധൈര്യവും കൈവിടാതെ അവനോടൊപ്പം പിടിച്ചുനിന്ന് പോരാടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
