तस्मै बाणांस्ततो जिष्णुर्निर्मुक्ताशीविषोपमान् | प्रेषयामास संक़्रुद्धो ज्वलितज्वलनोपमान्
tasmai bāṇāṁs tato jiṣṇur nirmuktāśīviṣopamān | preṣayāmāsa saṅkruddho jvalitajvalanopamān ||
അപ്പോൾ ക്രോധാഗ്നിയിൽ ജ്വലിച്ച ജിഷ്ണു (അർജുനൻ) അവന്റെ മേൽ അമ്പുകളുടെ പ്രളയം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു—വിടുതലപ്പെടുത്തിയ വിഷസർപ്പങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഭയങ്കരവും, ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തവുമായ—എതിരാളിയുടെ ഉഗ്രാക്രമണം അടക്കുവാൻ।
