parikṣīṇe kule yasmāj jāto ’yam abhimanyujaḥ
Translation
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കുലം ഏതാണ്ട് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്ന വേളയിൽ അഭിമന്യുവിന്റെ ഈ പുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു; അതിനാൽ വംശപരമ്പര വീണ്ടും സ്ഥാപിതമായി, നാശഭയം അകന്നു.
