अस्मिन् कार्ये द्विजश्रेष्ठा नक्षत्रे दिवसे शुभे,इति निश्चित्य विप्रेन्द्रा: क्रियतां यदनन्तरम् । “विप्रवरो! किसी शुभ नक्षत्र और शुभ दिनको इस कार्यकी सिद्धिके लिये आपलोग जो भी ठीक समझें, वह उपाय करें। ऐसा न हो कि यहीं लटके रहकर हमारा बहुत अधिक समय व्यतीत हो जाय। द्विजेन्द्रणण! इस विषयमें कुछ निश्चय करके इस समय जो करना उचित हो, उसे आप लोग अविलम्ब करें'
asmin kārye dvijaśreṣṭhā nakṣatre divase śubhe, iti niścitya viprendrāḥ kriyatāṃ yad anantaram |
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരേ, ഈ കര്മ്മസിദ്ധിക്കായി ശുഭ നക്ഷത്രവും ശുഭ ദിനവും നിശ്ചയിച്ച്, ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണോത്തമന്മാരേ, പിന്നെ ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് ഉടൻ ചെയ്യുക. അനിശ്ചയത്തിൽ തൂങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നതിനാൽ നമ്മുടെ സമയം അതിയായി നഷ്ടപ്പെടരുത്; കാര്യം തീർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തി യുക്തമായത് ക്ഷിപ്രമായി നിർവഹിക്കൂ।”
