विश्वसृग्भ्यस्तु भूते भ्यो महा भूतास्तु सर्वश: । भूतेभ्यश्चापि पञ्चभ्यो मुक्तो गच्छेत् परां गतिम्,इस विश्वकी रचना करनेवाले प्राणियोंसे पडच महाभूत सब प्रकार पर है। जो इन पठ्च महाभूतोंसे छूट जाता है, वह परम गतिको प्राप्त होता है
viśvasṛgbhyas tu bhūtebhyo mahābhūtāstu sarvaśaḥ | bhūtebhyaś cāpi pañcabhyo mukto gacchet parāṃ gatim ||
ലോകസൃഷ്ടി ചെയ്യുന്ന ജീവികളിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ സർവ്വവിധത്തിലും മഹാഭൂതങ്ങൾ ഉദ്ഭവിക്കുന്നു. ആ അഞ്ചു ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ ബന്ധനത്തിൽ നിന്നുപോലും വിമുക്തനായവൻ പരമഗതിയെ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
