Educational Q&A

Liberation is described as a threefold freedom: (1) release from saṃskāras (deep conditioning and habitual impressions), (2) transcendence of dvandvas (reactive swings between opposites), and (3) purification from pāpa (moral demerit). When these are removed, one reaches paramā gati—the highest spiritual end.

Vāyu-deva is speaking as a spiritual instructor, summarizing the marks and result of inner emancipation. The focus is not on external action but on the inner state that qualifies a person to attain the supreme goal.
