अरको<धिपतिरुष्णानां ज्योतिषामिन्दुरुच्यते । अग्निर्भूतपतिर्नित्यं ब्राह्मणानां बृहस्पति:,उष्णप्रभाके अधिपति सूर्य हैं और ताराओंके स्वामी चन्द्रमा कहे गये हैं। भूतोंके नित्य अधीश्वर अग्निदेव हैं तथा ब्राह्मणोंके स्वामी बृहस्पति हैं

arko 'dhipatir uṣṇānāṃ jyotiṣām indur ucyate | agnir bhūtapatiḥ nityaṃ brāhmaṇānāṃ bṛhaspatiḥ ||

വായു പറഞ്ഞു— ഉഷ്ണതയുടെ അധിപതി അർക്കൻ (സൂര്യൻ); ജ്യോതിസ്സുകളുടെ അധിപതി ഇന്ദു (ചന്ദ്രൻ) എന്നു പറയുന്നു. ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ നിത്യാധിപതി അഗ്നി; ബ്രാഹ്മണരുടെ അധിപതി ബൃഹസ്പതി.
