लोभप्रजनसम्भूता निर्विशेषा हाकिंचना: । मांसशोणितसंघाता अन्योन्यस्योपजीविन:
lobha-prajana-sambhūtā nirviśeṣā hy akiñcanāḥ | māṁsa-śoṇita-saṅghātā anyonyasyopajīvinaḥ ||
ലോഭത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ച് വർധിക്കാനുള്ള ത്വരയിൽ നയിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒരേപോലെയാണ്; അവരിൽ യഥാർത്ഥ മൂല്യമൊന്നുമില്ല. അവർ വെറും മാംസ-ശോണിതസംഘാതങ്ങൾ; പരസ്പരം ആശ്രയിച്ച്—പരസ്പരം ഭോഗിച്ച്—ജീവൻ നിലനിർത്തുന്നു.
