अण्डजानि विजानीयात् सर्वाश्वैव सरीसूपान् इनके अतिरिक्त जो दूसरे आकाशचारी प्राणी हैं तथा जो पेटसे चलनेवाले सर्प आदि हैं, उन सबको भी अण्डज जानना चाहिये
aṇḍajāni vijānīyāt sarvāṇy eva sarīsṛpān |
വായു പറഞ്ഞു—സർപ്പാദിയായ എല്ലാ സരീസൃപങ്ങളെയും ‘അണ്ഡജ’ (മുട്ടയിൽ ജനിച്ചവർ) എന്നു അറിയണം; അതുപോലെ ആകാശചരമായ മറ്റു ജീവികളെയും അണ്ഡജവർഗ്ഗത്തിലേയ്ക്കു തന്നെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തണം।
