तत्र सामानि गायन्ति तत्र चाहुर्निदर्शनम्‌ । देवं नारायणं भीरु सर्वात्मानं निबोध तम्‌,भगवत्प्राप्ति हो जानेपर परमानन्दसे परिपूर्ण हुए सिद्ध पुरुष जो सामगान करते हैं, उसका दृष्टन्त तैत्तिरीय-उपनिषदके विद्वान्‌ 'एतत्‌ सामगायज्नास्ते” इत्यादि मन्त्रोंके रूपमें उपस्थित करते हैं। भीरु! तुम उस सर्वात्मा भगवान्‌ नारायणदेवका ज्ञान प्राप्त करो

tatra sāmāni gāyanti tatra cāhur nidarśanam | devaṃ nārāyaṇaṃ bhīru sarvātmānaṃ nibodha tam ||

അവിടെ സാമഗാനങ്ങൾ പാടപ്പെടുന്നു; അവിടെയേ അതിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തവും പറയുന്നു. ഭീരുവേ, സർവ്വാത്മാവായ ദേവനായ നാരായണനെ അറിയുക.
