व्याधि-गुण-साम्योपदेशः | Discourse on Affliction, Guṇa-Equilibrium, and the Inner Battle

शीतोष्णे चैव वायुश्व॒ गुणा राजन्‌ शरीरजा: । तेषां गुणानां साम्यं चेत्‌ तदाहु: स्वस्थलक्षणम्‌,राजन! शीत, उष्ण और वायु--ये तीन शरीरके गुण हैं। यदि शरीरमें इन तीनों गुणोंकी समानता हो तो यह स्वस्थ पुरुषका लक्षण है

śītoṣṇe caiva vāyuś ca guṇā rājan śarīrajāḥ | teṣāṃ guṇānāṃ sāmyaṃ cet tad āhuḥ svasthalakṣaṇam ||

വായുദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! ശീതം, ഉഷ്ണം, വായു—ഇവ മൂന്നു ശരീരജന്യ ഗുണങ്ങളാണ്. ഇവയിൽ സാമ്യം നിലനിൽക്കുമ്പോൾ അതെയാണ് ആരോഗ്യലക്ഷണമെന്നു പറയുന്നു.
