अहं संस्तम्भयिष्यामि मा भैस्त्वं शक्रतो नूप । सर्वेषामेव देवानां क्षयितान्यायुधानि मे
ahaṁ saṁstambhayiṣyāmi mā bhaiḥ tvaṁ śakrato nūpa | sarveṣām eva devānāṁ kṣayitāny āyudhāni me ||
സംവർത്തൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ നൃപാ! ഞാൻ അവനെ സ്തംഭിപ്പിക്കും; ശക്രനെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട. ശക്രന്റേതുൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരുടെയും ആയുധങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
