अयमायाति वै वज्री दिशो विद्योतयन् दश । अमानुषेण घोरेण सदस्यास्त्रासिता हि नः,मरुत्तने कहा--विप्रवर! देवराज इन्द्र दूरसे ही प्रहार करनेकी चेष्टा कर रहे हैं, वे दूरकी राहपर खड़े हैं, इसलिये उनका शरीर दृष्टिगोचर नहीं होता। ब्राह्मणशिरोमणे! मैं आपकी शरणमें हूँ और आपके द्वारा अपनी रक्षा चाहता हूँ, अतः आप कृपा करके मुझे अभय-दान दें। देखिये, ये वज्रधारी इन्द्र दसों दिशाओंको प्रकाशित करते हुए चले आ रहे हैं। इनके भयंकर एवं अलौकिक सिंहनादसे हमारी यज्ञशालाके सभी सदस्य थर्रा उठे हैं

നോക്കുക, വജ്രധാരി ഇന്ദ്രൻ പത്ത് ദിക്കുകളും പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വരുന്നു. അവന്റെ ഭയങ്കരമായ, മാനുഷാതീതമായ ഗർജ്ജനത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ യജ്ഞസഭയിലെ അംഗങ്ങൾ സത്യമായും ഭീതരായിരിക്കുന്നു।
