कारयेथाश्व कर्माणि युक्तायुक्तैरधिष्ितै: । “कुरुश्रेष्ठ पहले काम देखकर सेवकोंको नियुक्त करना चाहिये और अपने आश्रित मनुष्य योग्य हों या अयोग्य, उनसे काम अवश्य लेना चाहिये

Transliteration

kārayethāśva karmāṇi yuktāyuktair adhiṣṭhitaiḥ |

Translation

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ കുരുശ്രേഷ്ഠനേ! ആദ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ട കാര്യത്തെ പരിശോധിച്ച്, യോഗ്യ-അയോഗ്യരെ വിവേചിച്ച് സേവകരെ നിയോഗിക്കണം; കൂടാതെ ആശ്രിതർ യോഗ്യരായാലും അയോഗ്യരായാലും, ആവശ്യമായ കർത്തവ്യങ്ങൾ അവരാൽ നിർബന്ധമായി നടത്തിക്കൊള്ളണം.
