धृतराष्ट्रस्य पश्चात्तापः तथा वनप्रस्थानानुज्ञा | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse and Request for Forest-Retirement

सर्वे मन्त्रगृहे वर्ज्या ये चापि जडपड़व: । “जहाँ अधिक घास-फूस या झाड़-झंखाड़ न हो

sarve mantragṛhe varjyā ye cāpi jaḍapaṅgavaḥ | mantrabhede hi ye doṣā bhavanti pṛthivīkṣitām ||

മന്ത്രഗൃഹത്തിൽ മന്ദബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരെയും അംഗവൈകല്യമുള്ളവരെയും എല്ലാം ഒഴിവാക്കണം. കാരണം മന്ത്രം ചോർന്നാൽ ഭൂമിയെ ഭരിക്കുന്ന രാജാക്കന്മാർക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ദോഷങ്ങളും ദുരന്തങ്ങളും അത്യന്തം ഗുരുതരമാണ്।
