धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
यच्चाहं वासुदेवस्य नाऔ्रैषं वाक्यमर्थवत्
yac cāhaṃ vāsudevasya nāśrauṣaṃ vākyam arthavat
ധൃതരാഷ്ട്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു: “വാസുദേവന്റെ അർത്ഥവത്തായ ഉപദേശം ഞാൻ കേട്ടില്ല.” ഈ സമ്മതത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ നൈതിക പരാജയം അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു—ധർമ്മാനുസൃതമായ ജ്ഞാനവാക്ക് അവഗണിച്ച് നാശത്തിലേക്കുള്ള വഴി തുറന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ പശ്ചാത്താപത്തിന്റെ ഭാരമാണ് വഹിക്കുന്നത്.
