नारदेन धृतराष्ट्रगतिवर्णनम् | Nārada’s Account of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Future Course

एठद्धि त्रितयं श्रेष्ठ सर्वभूतेषु भारत । निर्वेरता महाराज सत्यमक्रोध एव च,“महाराज! भरतनन्दन! किसीसे वैर न रखना, सत्य बोलना और क्रोधको सर्वथा त्याग देना--से तीन गुण सब प्राणियोंमें श्रेष्ठ माने गये हैं

etaddhi tritayaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ sarvabhūteṣu bhārata | nirvairatā mahārāja satyam akrodha eva ca ||

വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭാരതാ, മഹാരാജാവേ! സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങളിൽ ഈ ത്രയം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമെന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു—വൈരരഹിതത്വം, സത്യവചനം, ക്രോധത്തെ പൂർണ്ണമായി ഉപേക്ഷിക്കൽ.
