विदितं चापि राजेन्द्र विदुरस्य महात्मन: । गमनं विधिनानेन धर्मस्य सुमहात्मन:,'राजेन्द्र! महात्मा विदुरके, जो साक्षात्‌ महामना धर्मके स्वरूप थे, इस विधिसे परलोकगमनका समाचार तो तुम्हें ज्ञात हुआ ही होगा

viditaṃ cāpi rājendra vidurasya mahātmanaḥ | gamanaṃ vidhinānena dharmasya sumahātmanaḥ ||

ഹേ രാജേന്ദ്രാ! മഹാത്മാവായ വിദുരന്റെ—സാക്ഷാൽ മഹാമനസ്സായ ധർമ്മസ്വരൂപന്റെ—ഇതേ വിധിപ്രകാരം പരലോകഗമനം സംഭവിച്ച വൃത്താന്തം നിനക്കു തീർച്ചയായും അറിയാമല്ലോ.
