Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
ते तमूचुस्ततो वाक्यं यमुनामवगाहितुम् । पुष्पाणामुदकुम्भस्य चार्थे गत इति प्रभो
te tam ūcustato vākyaṃ yamunām avagāhitum | puṣpāṇām udakumbhasya cārthe gata iti prabho ||
അപ്പോൾ അവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് പറഞ്ഞു— “പ്രഭോ! അദ്ദേഹം യമുനയിൽ അവഗാഹനം ചെയ്യാനും, പുഷ്പങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരാനും, ജലകുംഭം നിറയ്ക്കാനും പോയതാണ്.”
