Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
सा हाग्रेगच्छति तयोर्दम्पत्योर्हतपुत्रयो: । कर्षन्ती तौ ततस्ते तां दृष्टवा संन्यपतन् भुवि
sā hāgre gacchati tayor dampatyor hataputrayoḥ | karṣantī tau tatas te tāṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃnyapatan bhuvi ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൾ മുന്നിൽ നടന്നു; പുത്രന്മാർ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ സന്താനഹീന രാജദമ്പതികളെ കൂടെ വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവന്നു. അവൾ അങ്ങനെ അടുത്തുവരുന്നത് കണ്ട പാണ്ഡവർ ഉടൻ തന്നെ അവളുടെ പാദങ്ങളിൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു വണങ്ങി।
