Kuntī’s Retrospective Uddharṣaṇa and Renunciatory Resolve (कुन्त्युद्धर्षण-प्रत्याख्यानम्)
बाहुभ्यां सम्परिष्वज्य समुन्नाम्य च पुत्रकम् । गान्धार्या: कथयामास सहदेवमुपस्थितम्
bāhubhyāṁ sampariṣvajya samunnāmya ca putrakam | gāndhāryāḥ kathayāmāsa sahadevam upasthitam ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— കുന്തി ഇരുകൈകളാൽ മകനെ ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത് ഉയർത്തി നെഞ്ചോട് ചേർത്തു; പിന്നെ ഗാന്ധാരിയോട് അറിയിച്ചു— “ചേച്ചീ! സഹദേവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ സേവയ്ക്ക് ഇവിടെ സന്നദ്ധനായി നിൽക്കുന്നു.” തുടർന്ന് രാജാവ് യുധിഷ്ഠിരൻ, ഭീമസേനൻ, അർജുനൻ, നകുലൻ എന്നിവരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ കുന്തിദേവി ആകാംക്ഷയോടെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ നീങ്ങി.
