Vidura’s Message to Dhṛtarāṣṭra: Authorization for Dāna and Public Welfare (विदुरवाक्यम्—दानानुज्ञा)
पाण्डु: स्मरति ते नित्यं बलहन्तु: समीपग: । त्वां सदैव महाराज श्रेयसा स च योक्ष्यति,महाराज! तुम्हारे छोटे भाई पाण्डु इन्द्रके पास ही रहते हैं। वे सदा तुम्हें याद करते रहते हैं। निश्चय ही वे तुम्हें कल्याणके भागी बनायेंगे
pāṇḍuḥ smarati te nityaṁ balahantuḥ samīpagaḥ | tvāṁ sadaiva mahārāja śreyasā sa ca yokṣyati ||
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ബലഹന്താവായ ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ സമീപത്ത് വസിക്കുന്ന പാണ്ഡു നിന്നെ നിത്യം സ്മരിക്കുന്നു. മഹാരാജാ, അവൻ എപ്പോഴും നിന്നെ മനസ്സിൽ ധരിച്ചു, നിശ്ചയമായും നിന്നെ ശ്രേയസ്സും കല്യാണവും പ്രാപിക്കുന്നതിലേക്കു നയിക്കും.
