Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच अथ दृष्टवा परिव्राट् स तान् महर्षीन् शुना सह । अभिगम्य यथान्यायं पाणिस्पर्शमभथाचरत्,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! कुत्तेसहित आये हुए संन्यासीने जब उन महर्षियोंको देखा, तब उनके पास आकर संन्यासकी मर्यादाकें अनुसार उनका हाथसे स्पर्श किया
bhīṣma uvāca atha dṛṣṭvā parivrāṭ sa tān maharṣīn śunā saha | abhigamya yathānyāyaṃ pāṇisparśam athācarat ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! നായയോടൊപ്പം വന്ന ആ പരിവ്രാജകൻ മഹർഷിമാരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, സന്ന്യാസധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ മര്യാദപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ കൈകൾ സ്പർശിച്ച് വന്ദനം ചെയ്തു.
