Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

भरद्वाज उवाच नैतस्येह यथास्माकं ब्रह्मुबन्धोरचेतस: । शोको भार्यापवादेन तेन पीवाउछुना सह

bharadvāja uvāca naitasy eha yathāsmākaṁ brahmabandhor acetasaḥ | śoko bhāryāpavādena tena pīvaucchunā saha

ഭരദ്വാജൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ ബോധമില്ലാത്ത ‘ബ്രഹ്മബന്ധു’ ഞങ്ങളിലേതുപോലെ അല്ല. ഭാര്യയ്‌ക്കെതിരേ ഉയർന്ന അപവാദത്തിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന ദുഃഖം ഇവനിൽ ഇല്ല; അതുകൊണ്ട് ആ കരുണാർദ്രമായ നിലവിളിയോടൊപ്പം പോലും (അചഞ്ചലമായി) അവൻ നിലകൊണ്ടു.
