Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

मन्त्रिण ऊचु. उपधिं शंकमानास्ते हित्वा तानि फलानि वै । ततोडन्येनैव गच्छन्ति विदितं तेडस्तु पार्थिव

mantriṇa ūcuḥ | upadhiṁ śaṅkamānās te hitvā tāni phalāni vai | tato 'nyenaiva gacchanti viditaṁ te 'stu pārthiva ||

മന്ത്രിമാർ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാരാജാവേ! അങ്ങേക്ക് അറിയപ്പെടട്ടെ; ആ ഫലങ്ങൾ കണ്ട ഉടനെ തന്നെ ഋഷിമാർക്ക് വഞ്ചനയെന്ന സംശയം തോന്നി. അതിനാൽ അവർ ആ ഫലങ്ങൾ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് മറ്റൊരു വഴിയിലൂടെ പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
