The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
ब्राह्मणस्य हि दत्तेन ध्रुवं स्वर्गो हानुत्तम: । शक्य: प्राप्तुंविशेषेण दानं हि महती क्रिया,ब्राह्मणको दान देनेसे निश्चय ही परम उत्तम स्वर्गलोकको विशेष रूपसे प्राप्त किया जा सकता है; क्योंकि दान महान् पुण्यकर्म है
brāhmaṇasya hi dattena dhruvaṃ svargo hy anuttamaḥ | śakyaḥ prāptuṃ viśeṣeṇa dānaṃ hi mahatī kriyā ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണനു ദാനം നൽകിയാൽ തീർച്ചയായും അനുത്തമമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗം ലഭിക്കുന്നു. ദാനത്തിലൂടെ പ്രത്യേകമായി സ്വർഗ്ഗപ്രാപ്തി സാധ്യമാണ്; കാരണം ദാനം മഹത്തായ പുണ്യകർമ്മമാണ്.
