नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)

स सेनापतिरेवाथ बभौ स्कन्द: प्रतापवान्‌ | ईशो गोप्ता च देवानां प्रियकृच्छड्करस्य च,प्रतापी स्कन्द सेनापतिके ही पदपर रहकर बड़ी शोभा पाने लगे। वे देवताओंके ईश्वर तथा संरक्षक थे और भगवान्‌ शंकरका सदा ही हित किया करते थे

sa senāpatir evātha babhau skandaḥ pratāpavān | īśo goptā ca devānāṁ priyakṛc chaṅkarasya ca ||

അപ്പോൾ പ്രതാപശാലിയായ സ്കന്ദൻ അതേ സേനാധിപതിപദത്തിൽ തന്നെ ദീപ്തനായി. അവൻ ദേവന്മാരുടെ ഈശ്വരനും രക്ഷകനുമായി, ശങ്കരന് പ്രിയമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും ചെയ്യുന്നവനായി നിലകൊണ്ടു.
