Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तस्य दर्शनमिष्टं वो यदि देवा विभावसो: । तत्रैवमधिगच्छध्वं कार्य वो यदि वल्लिना,“देवताओ! यदि आपको अग्निदेवका दर्शन अभीष्ट हो और यदि उनसे आपका कोई कार्य हो तो वहीं जाकर उनसे मिलिये
tasya darśanam iṣṭaṃ vo yadi devā vibhāvasaḥ | tatraivam adhigacchadhvaṃ kāryaṃ vo yadi vallinā ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ദേവഗണങ്ങളേ! വിഭാവസു (അഗ്നിദേവൻ) ദർശിക്കണമെന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കിഷ്ടമെങ്കിൽ, ദണ്ഡധാരിയോടു നിങ്ങൾക്കൊരു കാര്യമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ, അവിടേക്കുതന്നെ ചെന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടുക.”
