Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तेजकी राशिभूत अग्निदेवका तुम सब लोग शीघ्र अन्वेषण करो। वे तुम्हारी मनोवांछित कामनाको पूर्ण करेंगे ।।
etad vākyam upaśrutya tato devā mahātmanaḥ | jagmuḥ saṃsiddha-saṅkalpāḥ paryeṣanto vibhāvasum ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും തേജോരാശിയായ അഗ്നിദേവനെ ഉടൻ അന്വേഷിക്കുവിൻ; അവൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനോവാഞ്ഛിത ആഗ്രഹം പൂർത്തിയാക്കും. മഹാത്മാവിന്റെ ഈ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട ദേവന്മാർ—സങ്കൽപം സിദ്ധിച്ചതുപോലെ ഉറച്ച മനസ്സോടെ—വിഭാവസു (അഗ്നി)യെ തേടി അവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
