Śrāddha-Kalpa: Pitṛ-Pūjā and Tithi-Phala (श्राद्धकल्पः पितृपूजा च तिथिफलम्)
आदित्या वसवो रुद्रा मरुतो5थाश्चिनावपि | साध्याश्च सर्वे संत्रस्ता दैतेयस्य पराक्रमात्,आदित्य, वसु, रुद्र, मरुदगण, अश्विनीकुमार तथा साध्य--सभी देवता उस दैत्यके पराक्रमसे संत्रस्त हो उठे थे
ādityā vasavo rudrā maruto ’thāśvināv api | sādhyāś ca sarve saṁtrastā daiteyasya parākramāt ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ആദിത്യന്മാർ, വസുക്കൾ, രുദ്രന്മാർ, മരുത്ഗണങ്ങൾ, അശ്വിനീകുമാരന്മാർ, കൂടാതെ സാധ്യന്മാർ—എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും ആ ദൈത്യന്റെ പരാക്രമം മൂലം ഭീതരായി.
