Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
समानवत्सां गौरीं तु थेनुं दत्त्वा पयस्विनीम् । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतां वसूनां लोकमाप्नुयात्
samānavatsāṃ gaurīṃ tu dhenuṃ dattvā payasvinīm | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītāṃ vasūnāṃ lokam āpnuyāt ||
ഗൗരവർണ്ണമുള്ള, പാൽ തരുന്ന, ശുഭലക്ഷണയുള്ള പശുവിനെ അതേ വർണ്ണമുള്ള കിടാവോടുകൂടി വസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ട് മൂടി, സുവ്രതനായി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ വസുക്കളുടെ ലോകം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।
