ब्राह्मणो हि महदभूतं स्वयं देहीति याचति । अकामो वा सकामो वा दत्त्वा पुण्यमवाप्रुयात्
Translation
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ മഹത്തായ സത്തയാണ്. അവൻ സ്വയം ‘എനിക്ക് അന്നം തരിക’ എന്ന് യാചിച്ചാൽ, മനുഷ്യൻ നിഷ്കാമമായാലും സകാമമായാലും അവനു അന്നദാനം ചെയ്ത് പുണ്യം നേടണം.
