Cyavana Explains His Tests; Kuśika Seeks Brāhmaṇya for His Line (च्यवन–कुशिक संवादः)

अविशड्कस्तु कुशिकस्तथेत्येवाह धर्मवित्‌ | न प्रबोधयतां तौ च दम्पती रजनीक्षये,धर्मज्ञ राज कुशिकने नि:ःशंक होकर कहा, “बहुत अच्छा'। रात बीती, सबेरा हुआ, किंतु उन पति-पत्नीने मुनिको जगाया नहीं

aviśaṅkastu kuśikastathetyevāha dharmavit | na prabodhayatāṃ tau ca dampatī rajanīkṣaye ||

ധർമ്മജ്ഞനായ കുശികൻ സംശയമില്ലാതെ പറഞ്ഞു— “തഥാസ്തു; അത്യുത്തമം.” രാത്രി കഴിഞ്ഞു പുലരി വന്നിട്ടും ആ ദമ്പതികൾ മുനിയെ ഉണർത്തിയില്ല.
