गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

आर्यरूपसमाचारं चरन्तं कृतके पथि । सुवर्णमन्यवर्ण वा स्वशीलं शास्ति निश्चये
āryarūpasamācāraṃ carantaṃ kṛtake pathi | suvarṇam anyavarṇaṃ vā svaśīlaṃ śāsti niścaye ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—കൃത്രിമമായ വഴിയെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ആര്യന്മാരുടെ പോലെ ആചാരവും മര്യാദയും അനുകരിക്കുന്നവൻ സ്വർണമോ ഗ്ലാസോ—ശുദ്ധവർണ്ണക്കാരനോ സംകരവർണ്ണക്കാരനോ? ഈ സംശയം തീർക്കുന്നത് അവന്റെ സ്വന്തം സ്വഭാവം തന്നെയാണ്, നിർണ്ണായകമായി.
