गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

भीष्म उवाच योनिसंकलुषे जातं नानाभावसमन्वितम्‌ । कर्मभि: सज्जनाचीर्ण॑विज्ञेया योनिशुद्धता

bhīṣma uvāca | yoni-saṅkaluṣe jātaṁ nānā-bhāva-samanvitam | karmabhiḥ sajjanācīrṇa-vijñeyā yoni-śuddhatā ||

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—യുധിഷ്ഠിരാ! കലുഷിത യോനിയിൽ ജനിച്ചവൻ സജ്ജനരുടെ ആചാരത്തിന് വിരുദ്ധമായ പലവിധ സ്വഭാവങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തികളും കാണിക്കും; അതിനാൽ അവനെ അവന്റെ കർമ്മങ്ങളാൽ തന്നെയാണ് തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടത്. അതുപോലെ സജ്ജനോചിതമായ ആചരണത്തിലൂടെ യോനിശുദ്ധിയും അറിയണം.
