क्षत्रियाया हरेत् पुत्रश्नतुरोंडशान् पितुर्धनात् । युद्धावहारिकं यच्च पितु: स्थात् स हरेत् तु तत्

ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ക്ഷത്രിയന്റെ പുത്രൻ പിതൃധനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നാല് ഭാഗം എടുക്കണം; പിതാവിനുള്ള യുദ്ധോപകരണങ്ങളും ആയുധസാമഗ്രിയും എന്തുണ്ടോ അതും അവൻ തന്നേ എടുക്കണം.
