अपूजिताश्च यत्रैता: सर्वास्तित्राफला: क्रिया: । जहाँ स्त्रियोंका आदर-सत्कार होता है वहाँ देवतालोग प्रसन्नतापूर्वक निवास करते हैं तथा जहाँ इनका अनादर होता है वहाँकी सारी क्रियाएँ निष्फल हो जाती हैं
apūjitāś ca yatraitāḥ sarvāstītrāphalāḥ kriyāḥ |
സ്ത്രീകൾ അപൂജിതരായിരിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് അവിടെയുള്ള എല്ലാ ക്രിയകളും നിഷ്ഫലമാകുന്നു. സ്ത്രീകളെ യഥോചിതമായി ആദരിച്ച് സത്കരിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് ദേവതകൾ പ്രസന്നതയോടെ വസിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അവരെ അനാദരിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് യജ്ഞം, ധർമ്മം, കർത്തവ്യം, എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങളും ഫലരഹിതമാകുന്നു.
