श्रिय एता: स्त्रियो नाम सत्कार्या भूतिमिच्छता । पालिता निगृहीता च श्री: स्त्री भवति भारत
śriya etāḥ striyo nāma satkāryā bhūtim icchatā | pālitā nigṛhītā ca śrīḥ strī bhavati bhārata ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സ്ത്രീകൾ ശ്രീസ്വരൂപികളെന്നപോലെ; അതിനാൽ ക്ഷേമവും സമൃദ്ധിയും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ അവരെ ആദരിക്കണം. ഹേ ഭാരതാ! അവർ സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ധർമ്മപരിധിക്കുള്ളിൽ യഥോചിതമായി നിയന്ത്രിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്താൽ, സ്ത്രീയിലൂടെ തന്നെയാണ് ഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശ്രീ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നത്.
