Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
तेनैकेन तु रक्षा वै विपुलेन कृता स्त्रिया: । नान्य: शक्तस्त्रिलोकेडस्मिन् रक्षितुं नूप योषितम्
tenaikena tu rakṣā vai vipulena kṛtā striyaḥ | nānyaḥ śaktaḥ triloke 'smin rakṣituṃ nūpa yoṣitam, nareśvara ||
വിപുലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—നരേശ്വരാ, ഒരുവൻ—വിപുലൻ മാത്രം—സ്ത്രീകളെ രക്ഷിച്ചു. ഈ ത്രിലോകത്തിലും യുവതികളായ സ്ത്രീകളെ ഇങ്ങനെ കാക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന മറ്റാരുമില്ല.
