लोभमास्थाय योअस्माकं विषमं कर्तुमुत्सहेत् । विपुलस्य परे लोके या गतिस्तामवाप्लुयात्
Transliteration
lobham āsthāya yo ’smākaṁ viṣamaṁ kartum utsahet | vipulasya pare loke yā gatis tām avāpluyāt ||
Translation
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഞങ്ങളിലാരെങ്കിലും ലോഭത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് അനീതിയിലേർപ്പെടാൻ ധൈര്യപ്പെടുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, പരലോകത്തിൽ വിപുലനെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന അതേ ഗതിയേ അവനും പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ.
