सा तमालोक्य सहसा प्रत्युत्थातुमियेष ह । रूपेण विस्मिता को$सीत्यथ वक्तुमिवेच्छती,इन्द्रको देखकर वह सहसा उनकी अगवानीके लिये उठनेकी इच्छा करने लगी। उनका सुन्दर रूप देखकर उसे बड़ा आश्चर्य हुआ था, मानो वह उनसे पूछना चाहती थी कि आप कौन हैं?

Transliteration

sā tam ālokya sahasā pratyutthātum iyeṣa ha | rūpeṇa vismitā ko'sīty atha vaktum ivecchatī ||

Translation

അവനെ കണ്ടയുടൻ അവൾ ആദരത്തോടെ എഴുന്നേൽക്കാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞു. അവന്റെ രൂപസൗന്ദര്യം കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിച്ച് ‘ആരാണ് നിങ്ങൾ?’ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവളെപ്പോലെ തോന്നി.
