देवशर्मोवाच यज्ञकारो गमिष्यामि रुचिं चेमां सुरेश्वर:

devaśarmovāca yajñakāro gamiṣyāmi ruciṃ cemāṃ sureśvaraḥ

ദേവശർമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സുരേശ്വരാ! ഞാൻ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ ഋത്വിക് (യജ്ഞകാരൻ) ആയി പോകും; എന്റെ ഈ അഭിരുചിയും അതേ കര്‍ത്തവ്യത്തിലേക്കാണ് ഉറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
