तासां रुदितशब्देन मन्त्रिभृत्यजनस्य च
tāsāṁ ruditāśabdena mantribhṛtyajanasya ca
അവരുടെ കരച്ചിലിന്റെ ശബ്ദവും മന്ത്രിമാരുടെയും ഭൃത്യജനങ്ങളുടെയും നിലവിളിയും ചേർന്ന് (ആ സ്ഥലം) വിലാപത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞു।
श्येन उवाच
The verse highlights how private sorrow becomes a public, communal disturbance—especially in a royal setting—implying an ethical awareness of how actions and misfortunes ripple through dependents, officials, and society.
Śyena describes a scene dominated by loud lamentation: the weeping of certain women (tāsām) is joined by the noise and agitation of ministers, attendants, and the wider populace, indicating a moment of crisis or bereavement affecting the whole establishment.
