सुव्रता मुनयो ये च ब्राह्मणा: सत्यसंगरा: । वोढारो हव्यकव्यानां तान्‌ नमस्यामि यादव,यदुनन्दन! जो उत्तम व्रतका पालन करनेवाले, मननशील, सत्यप्रतिज्ञ तथा हव्य- कव्यको नियमित-रूपसे चलानेवाले ब्राह्मण हैं उनको मैं मस्तक झुकाता हूँ

Transliteration

su-vratā munayo ye ca brāhmaṇāḥ satya-saṅgarāḥ | voḍhāro havya-kavyānāṃ tān namasyāmi yādava yadu-nandana ||

Translation

നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ യാദവാ, ഹേ യദുനന്ദനാ! ഉത്തമവ്രതങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥിരരായി, ധ്യാനപരരായ മുനിസ്വഭാവമുള്ളവരായി, സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞയിൽ അചഞ്ചലരായി, ഹവ്യ-കവ്യ (ദേവർക്കും പിതൃകൾക്കും അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന കർമങ്ങൾ) യഥാവിധി നടത്തിക്കുന്ന ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർക്ക് ഞാൻ ശിരസ്സു നമിക്കുന്നു।
