न भयेभ्यो भयं तस्य न पापेभ्यो न राजतः । आ देहपतनाद् गड़ामुपास्ते यः: पुमानिह,जो पुरुष यहाँ जीवनपर्यन्त गंगाजीकी उपासना करता है उसे भयदायक वस्तुओंसे, पापोंसे तथा राजासे भी भय नहीं होता
na bhayebhyo bhayaṁ tasya na pāpebhyo na rājataḥ | ā deha-patanād gaṅgām upāste yaḥ pumān iha ||
ഇവിടെ ദേഹപതനം (മരണം) വരെ ഗംഗയെ ഉപാസിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും രാജാവിൽ നിന്നും പോലും ഭയം ഉണ്ടാകില്ല.
