Brāhmaṇya-प्रश्नः — The Inquiry into Attaining Brāhmaṇya
Mataṅga–Gardabhī Itihāsa
विबोध्यते विमानस्थ: सो5प्सतेभिरभिष्ठत: । पुष्कर, प्रभास, नैमिषारण्य, सागरोदक (समुद्रजल), देविका, इन्द्रमार्ग तथा स्वर्णविन्दु --इन तीर्थोमें स्नान करनेसे मनुष्य विमानपर बैठकर स्वर्गमें जाता है और अप्सराएँ उसकी स्तुति करती हुई उसे जगाती हैं
vibodhyate vimānasthaḥ so 'psarobhir abhiṣṭhitaḥ | puṣkare prabhāse naimiṣāraṇye sāgarodake devikāyām indramārge tathā svarṇavindau ca snātvā manuṣyo vimānam āruhya svargaṃ gacchati, apsarasaś ca stutibhir enaṃ vibodhayanti |
അവൻ ദിവ്യവിമാനത്തിൽ ആസീനനായി അപ്സരസ്സുകളുടെ സേവനത്തോടെ ജാഗ്രതനാകുന്നു. പുഷ്കരം, പ്രഭാസം, നൈമിഷാരണ്യം, സാഗരോദകം, ദേവിക, ഇന്ദ്രമാർഗം, സ്വർണവിന്ദു—ഈ തീർത്ഥങ്ങളിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ വിമാനം കയറി സ്വർഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു; അപ്സരസ്സുകൾ അവനെ സ്തുതിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവിടെ അവനെ ഉണർത്തുന്നു।
