Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
क्षमावन्तश्न धीराश्च धर्मकार्येषु चोत्थिता: | मड़ुलाचारसम्पन्ना: पुरुषा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो क्षमावान्, धीर, धर्मकार्यके लिये उद्यत रहनेवाले और मांगलिक आचारसे सम्पन्न हैं, वे पुरुष भी स्वर्गगामी होते हैं
kṣamāvantaś ca dhīrāś ca dharmakāryeṣu cotthitāḥ | maṅgalācārasampannāḥ puruṣāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
ഭീഷ്മൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ക്ഷമാശീലരും ധീരരുമായും ധർമ്മകാര്യങ്ങൾക്ക് നിത്യവും സന്നദ്ധരായും മംഗളകരവും ശാസ്ത്രീയവുമായ ആചാരത്തിൽ സമ്പന്നരുമായ പുരുഷന്മാർ—അവർ ഈ ഗുണങ്ങളാൽ തന്നെ സ്വർഗ്ഗമാർഗം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു।
